The Asus Eee PC has finally arrived in India. The Asus Eee PC was initially released in the United States with great fanfare. There are now copy cats everywhere trying to make a small factor PC at an affordable price. The previous ultra portable laptops always came at a large premium.

They were usually Japanese laptops which were priced in the thousands of dollars. The Asus Eee PC should do well in India as it comes at an affordable price point. Adoption of computers and broadband has only risen at a very slow rate unlike the growth of cell phones. Asus Eee PC may be the laptop that may kick start the laptop revolution.
