If you were waiting for  8GB Asus Eee, it seems you will have to wait some more. There are some rumors about saying that Asus is delaying some shipments due to shortage in flash memory. It always seems to be the memory. I guess its good that the Eee wasn't out of stock during the Christmas season, otherwise that would have been a real problem for Asus.

In related news, Asus has lowered its sales forecast for Q1 for the Eee PC from 1 million to 700,000. The lowered forecast may be due to the unforeseen shortage. Also, there may be more shortages to come that may be in the pipeline but are not yet here.
