Have you been searching around for the 8gb Asus Eee PC? Well you may have noticed that it is quite difficult to find one these days. However, that's about to change. Asus stated that the reason it has been in short supply is because there is a problem with manufacturing the RAM.

They have now fixed the problem and should be shipping the 8GB model in the second quarter. It's still a little bit of a wait, but at least we know when it is coming. For now, you can just order the 4GB version and buy a large 8gb+ SDHC removable drive. Or you can check out eBay where they will have the 8GB model.
