More final details have emerged. For one the RAM size has ben confirmed as being 1GB. This is an upgrade from the previous 512MB. The overall weight is less than 1KG still. The CPU is not an ATOM, as there was much speculation about. The battery life is listed at 2.5 hours, however preliminary tests show it lasting about 2 hour. But it has a brightness display that can be reduced so that you can increase the duration before you have to plug back in.

There will be 3 USB ports and support up to wireless-G WiFi. There is also a SD/MMC slot in case you want to transfer photos or add more harddrive space. The UK release data is that it will cost 329 Pounds. Also, for those of you who wanted to purchase the previous generation Eee PC for its price point, will be able to purchase the EeePC 4G Win, which will come with Windows, have a 7-inch screen and 4GB SSD harddrive.
