Allegedly the soon to be released Asus Eee PC 900 will be fitted with a touch screen and built in GPS according to Digitimes. This seems to be quite a tall order because last time I checked the Eee PC is an ultra portable low cost PC, not a Sony or something. Asus Germany has made is clear that the Eee PC 900 will be delivered exactly as it was at CeBIT 2008 with no new additions planned.

The real features of the Eee PC 900 are going to be an 8.9 inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600. Another rumor, which carries more weight than the previous one, states that there will be two models of the Eee PC 900, one with a 12GB SSD which will run Windows XP and another one with a 20GB SSD which will run Linux. The RAM will be 1GB for both models.
